Glenn Young is a member of the Transformative Health and Justice Research Cluster advisory committee since June 2020. Glenn is also a Peer Prison Outreach worker for Unlocking the Gates society where he supports men leaving provincial and federal prisons all over the Lower Mainland. Glenn was drawn to this work because of his own life experience with serving time in federal and provincial prisons. He shares his life experience with the men he supports and is eager to connect them with resources and services in the community to help them successfully make their way back to the community.
