Welcome to the THJRC:
The Transformative Health and Justice Research Cluster brings together researchers, peers and community members whose work aims to improve wellbeing by addressing injustice. Members can expect to join a network of connected community and researchers whose work is action and human oriented.
Our cluster involvement fluctuates and can look like supporting community initiatives, collective project planning, sharing your work in bi-annual newsletters, and more. We also uplift projects that align with our mandate through micro-grants and bursaries that are open to all of our community members.
All members of our cluster are invited to bi-annual knowledge sharing and networking events where we share, celebrate, and brainstorm on our individual and collective progress and projects.
We invite all new members to present on their research to our Core Team via Zoom, and again at their first bi-annual event with our cluster. They are then invited to attend and present at future cluster-wide events going forward as they see fit.

We welcome applications from new members, in all different areas and career stages, at the intersections of health, justice, and research. Let us know a little about yourself. We typically review applications once a month, so you should hear back from a member of our team within a month of applying.
